Founded in 2024, KingoSimmo Productions creates stories that challenge, inspire, and entertain—on stage, on screen, and beyond.

Kathleen Simmonds is a New York-based actor, Emmy-winning producer, and former attorney whose work centers women’s stories and underrepresented voices.

Her producing credits span Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Lifetime, History Channel, CNN, and Sundance/AMC, including the Emmy-winning Little Richard: I Am Everything (CNN), Emmy-winning The Sixth (A24/Prime Video), and Emmy-nominated Reversing Roe (Netflix).

Kathleen created and self-produced the award-winning web series Woe Is She, which was acquired by Roku and screened at more than 25 international film festivals. She also leads acting workshops and industry seminars internationally and has served as a moderator, panelist, and jury member at festivals including Chelsea Film Festival and NYC WebFest.

With more than a decade of leadership as CEO and Executive Chair of Brookfield’s Real Estate business, Brian Kingston brings extensive experience in guiding large-scale ventures, strategic planning, and creative collaboration.

At KingoSimmo Productions, Brian combines his executive expertise with his passion for storytelling, helping to shepherd bold new projects across theater, film, and television. His work emphasizes both artistic vision and business strategy, ensuring each production is developed with creativity and built on a foundation of excellence.
